Folders
File a chat into a folder without leaving the page. A chat can sit in more than one, folders collapse when the list gets long, and the folder shows up next to the chat everywhere else.

Pins
Star the two or three chats you are in and out of all day. They get their own tab and stay at the top of it, on every plan.
Search
Type a word you remember and get the chat back, with the matching line and a count. Titles, messages and your own notes are all searched.
Mossle indexes a chat when you open it. It never crawls your history in the background and never calls an internal API.
Notes
Write a line on any chat: what you concluded, what to try next, why you kept it. The note sits under the title, search reads it alongside the messages, and it comes out in the export.
Export
Save a chat as Markdown, ready to paste into your notes or commit to a repo. Notes you wrote come with it, so the file is the whole record.
Single chats export on every plan. Whole folders at once are part of Pro.
The dot beside the message box
With the panel closed, Mossle is one small dot next to where you type. It carries the index state, grey while it reads the chat and green once that chat is searchable, and it opens a four button menu: pin, folder, note, export.
Turn it off in the settings if you would rather have nothing on the page at all.

- It looks how you want it
- Theme follows the system or you pick one. Density is compact or comfortable. The panel docks right or left. Animations can be turned down, and the dot can be turned off.
- Folders collapse
- A folder with thirty chats in it folds down to one line, and stays folded next time. The chevron says which state it is in, so it works from the keyboard and it works in a screen reader.
- It survives navigation
- Opening another chat on claude.ai is a page load. The panel comes back where you left it, on the tab you left it on, without you doing anything.
- It never moves your cursor
- Nothing Mossle draws takes focus away from what you were typing. It is the invariant the product is tested against, because it was broken once and that was enough.

Open a chat, and it becomes searchable
Mossle reads the conversation you have open, and only that one. The dot beside the message box goes from a grey ring to a green disc when it is done.
File it, or star it
Add to folder puts the chat wherever you want it, and a chat can be in more than one folder. Pin keeps it at the top of its own tab.
Find it again, or take it with you
Search matches titles, messages and your own notes. Export writes the whole conversation out as Markdown.

Everything below this line is written, tested and running. It is not in the extension you can install today, and it will not be described as though it were until the day it is.
It is held back for one reason: the selectors that read a conversation on ChatGPT and Gemini have been checked against fixtures, not against the live sites. Shipping an organiser that quietly fails on two of the three places it claims to work is worse than shipping one that only claims one.

The install prompt would stay claude.ai only. The other two are optional permissions you grant when you want them, and never before.

Not yetCarry what one conversation established into another one. Mossle builds a compact pack from the chat and its note, puts it where you can paste it, and opens a fresh chat on the platform you picked.
It fills a message box and never presses send. That line is a rule in the product, not a preference: the send button is yours.
Forget everything Mossle has indexed
Not yetOne button that deletes the full text of every chat Mossle has read. It matters more than it sounds: a content script's database belongs to the page's origin, so uninstalling the extension leaves the index behind as claude.ai site data.
Until it lands, the privacy policy says how to clear it by hand, because a policy that discloses persistence and offers no way out is not much of a policy.
Support for more models is coming
Mossle is a library, and a library is worth more the more of your chats it can hold. Every platform it supports is also a page that can be redesigned overnight and break it, so they land a few at a time, in the order people ask for them, and the store listing always names the ones that work rather than the ones that are planned.

The order after the second row is not fixed. The panel will carry a way to ask for yours, and the ones people ask for are the ones that get built.
Try the held branch anyway
It runs here, in this page, the same way the working demo does: the real code, in a frame, with nothing installed and nothing saved. Below a laptop width there is not room for a panel beside a chat app, so this part is desktop only.
The preview needs a screen wide enough for the panel and a chat app side by side.

This site works the same way: no cookies, no analytics, and no fonts or scripts fetched from anyone else.
