Say what you pressed, what you expected and what happened instead, and which version of Chrome you are on. A screenshot of the panel helps. Nothing from inside your chats is ever needed, so leave that out.
Where is my data?
In your browser, and nowhere else. Folders, pins, notes and settings are in the extension’s own storage. The text of the chats you have opened is in a database your browser files under claude.ai. Mossle never sends your conversations anywhere: there is no server, no account and no analytics, so there is nowhere for it to send them.
The privacy policy has the detail, checked against the extension’s code.
How do I delete what Mossle has indexed?
Forget everything Mossle has indexed is the bin in the panel’s footer. Press it, confirm, and the text of every chat Mossle has read is deleted from this browser. Your folders, pins and notes are not touched.
If you have already uninstalled, the button went with the extension, so clear site data for claude.ai instead. The steps are in the privacy policy.
What does the free plan include, and why 3 folders?
The free plan is 3 folders, unlimited pins, notes on any chat, full text search and single chat export, and it stays free. Pro adds unlimited folders and export a whole folder in one file: $6 a month, $49 a year or $79 once, as a licence key rather than an account. The folder count is the free plan’s shape, not a trial that runs out: nothing you have filed is held back if you never buy anything.
I have a licence key. Where does it go?
Click the Mossle icon in Chrome’s toolbar, paste the key into the box marked Licence key and press Activate. That sends one request to Lemon Squeezy to check the key. It is the only network request Mossle can make, and it carries no chat content.
Getting Pro
Pro is launching shortly. Everything on the free plan works the day you install it, and nothing you have already filed is held back if you never buy anything.
When it opens, the Get Pro button in the panel and the Mossle icon in Chrome’s toolbar both lead to it, and so will this page.
